WEB HOSTING - Managing Spam Assassin mail filter settings

Logging in to the control panel
You will first need to log in to your account control panelvia the login panel on the hosting home page using your domain administrator user name and password as provided.

Using Plesk control panel

Click on Mail icon

select the >>> SpamAssassin link

To have the server DELETE and NOT deliver emails that are tagged as spam by Spam Assassin using default settings simply click on the ENABLE SPAM ASSASSIN box

Configure Spam Assassin
Follow directions to customise spam filter settings as indicated.

Spam Box
You can choose to have mail identified as spam to be delivered to a separate mail folder names "spam"
NOTE: If this folder is not checked regularly it may result in your mailbox quota being exceeded.

Using cPanel controlpanel

Click on the Mail Scanner configuration icon

Turn on / off spam scanning >>> choose what you wish to do with high scoring ( very likely) and low scoring ( quite likely) email. Options are to delete / allow or forward to spam@mydomain.com.
